We start our trip with a visit to the most important national monument in Bangladesh. The National Martyrs' Memorial honors those who died in the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971, which separated East Bengal from Pakistan and marked the independence of Bangladesh.

On the way back to Dhaka, we can choose to enjoy lunch in a local restaurant or at the hostel of Dutch Shalom Family Shelter for Children, where we can spend time with the kids who are benefitted because you traveled with Golpata Eco Tours.

Savar is located 30-40 km to the northeast of Dhaka, about 2-3 hours drive.
