An easy train journey or bus ride from Dhaka lies the beautiful tea gardens of Srimongol, at the heart of the Sylhet region. Meet with the tea pickers and learn about their life. Stop by tea-picker villages or by nearby tribal villages for tea, after a stroll with monkeys in the national Park. Then, get ready for a hike to the Hum Hum waterfalls and cross the photogenic, very narrow, bamboo bridge on the way.

Tips and personal purchases

Day 1: Transport from Dhaka to Srimongol via early morning train or bus. We'll enjoy a relaxing hike around Lowacherra National Park and try the famous seven-layer tea. For the night, you can choose an lovely eco-cottage or a homestay with a local family - both are comfortable options.

Day 2: Sightseeing around Srimongol visiting Madapur lake, tea estates, a tea factory, and local villages of the tea workers. In the evening, we enjoy the hospitality and tasty food of a local family.

Day 3: Get ready for our adventure to Hum Hum waterfalls, a memorable hike requiring us to brave a bamboo bridge that will be an experience you'll never forget.

Day 4: After lunch, we journey back to Dhaka by bus. Arrive back to Dhaka where we will say goodbye and wish you a happy journey to your next destination. As we say in Bangla, Abar Ashben!
